Singapore - It's Singaland!

Hey readers! How's your day today?

This is gonna be a longer post compared the normal one.

If you are rushing to church, I would suggest to come back and read after the prayer. Today is Good Friday la.

Aww don't ask me what I'm going to do for Good Friday, to be frank,

I will not do anything about it, but going to KLIA later to fetch my dad.

So,

March is quite a plain month, I need some entertainment, so we decided to visit our neighbor aka Singapore!

It's been ages since I visited Singapore. This trip is planned just few days before that , luckily I have my passport validated. Most important, I have excessive money to spend! *Jumping around*

Arrived to Singapore.

Lamborghini at the Casino entrance.

How much you'll spend on the Jackpot machine in order to win this Lamborghini?

Really smart-business-minded la.

As far as I concern, the Casino will give out 3 Lamborghini,

who are the lucky three? *You?*

Other than having lunch in the Casino, I did not try my luck there.

# National Geographic

My favorite place.

Eh, Malaysia should have one so that I can buy boxes from them to store all my books and letters.

# Bear Workshop

Teddy Bears.

I'll buy one another day if I feel like. They are so cute, aren't they?

There are so many cute things in Singapore!

I see people walk their dogs at the park, even near to the shopping mall, which we seldom see it in this country.

Sorry la, I am extreme dog lover and I support SPCA.

Myself have three dogs, and another giant dog is coming soon.

I have membership from all the petshops almost all the petshops and dog gatherings in Malaysia.

Talking about dogs, look what I found in Singapore...

# Yummy One.

Donuts and bone-like cookies.

# Yummy Two.

Muffins with different and attracting colors.

# Yummy Three.

Egg tarts.

All that are dog treat!

I wanted to buy it for my dogs but worry that the custom will confiscate it.

Eh, how come our Pet Safari don't sell it? They should, right or not?

Apart from this beautiful dog treats,

It was my lucky day where they have..

Free Cone Day! By Ben & Jerry's.

It happens only once a year and I am lucky to participate in this event!

It's free for everyone!

It didn't take long time before your turn. They have those pretty ladies to serve you pleasantly and efficient. They introduced me the assorted tastes and wait for us to choose patiently.

It's me dropping the form into the box.

Hopefully I'll win the contest! Pray hard for me ah you guys!

Wondering if they are willing to make international calls if any foreigner won? Hopefully they will!

Told you that they are patient.

All of us with different choices of ice cream.

To conclude this ice cream thingy, I am not a big fans of ice cream.

Others told me it's delicious and creamy. So in shorts, taste good la!

# Shopping Time for Chocolate

What else?

If you see the blue pillow I'm holding, can buy one for me ah?

It's M&M!

Ignore our weird expression. I guess I was having muscle pain.

My boyfriend is a big fans of M&M figures and he starts collecting them since 3 years ago.

One of the collected.

I unwrapped it soon after I reached home, want to check out if chips REALLY included.

OMFG, it's included!

I know I sounds stupid but I never thought such small box can put 3 blocks of chips inside with chocolates and poker card. Not to forget the poker-green-cloth.

Okie, it's like magic. (I sounds stupid again?)

# The-Faces-Of-We-Are-Tired-Yet-Happy-Shopping

I only bought NG Boxes, a pair of Tangerine ballerina shoe, and chocolates!

# Where-To-Go-Discussion-Group

My mom and the aunt decided to split with us since we have different places to go.

I did not have enough time to laze up the beach or whatsoever.

I even did not contact my cousins that I was on their land!

My cousin boy found out that I WAS in Singapore without meeting up with him,

he was happy upset and slap me left and right with his words.

"I will definitely meet you next time if I go there, don't la angry at me~" I promise.

Roslyn and Calvin.

Singapore is an ideal place for budget-short-vacation. Definitely will go there again.

People who went there told me that it's a shopping paradise.

I still don't feel that way probably it's because I spent short time there.

The conversion is not too bad and most of us (the Malaysian) can afford to visit the Singaland.

I think despite of the Singaporeans-Follow-The-Laws kind of impression,

most of them quite polite when comes to using the toilet or queue up.

Other than that, most of the girls in the mall are so-damn-fucking-hot-and-sexy!

I know, some perverts out there will shout at me and say :

" You la ugly! Malaysia girls also very cantik, okie! "

Yes, indeed.

You perverts like all those seafoods that easily seen in Times Square and Sungei Wang some of the places.

What I meant are the girls with different styles/standards from yours, understand?

My business la what is my standard, right or not? Why you care?

So readers, it's time for me to stop typing,

I'm off to take bath now. Whee!

See you tomorrow? You will see my tomorrow, fullstop.

Let's Food Rule The Night, Then Karaoke Session.

Edward can't wait.

We had this small reunion at Calvin's house last night.

Her mother invited her dancing classmates to come over for dinner.

Now only I know Calvin's mom and my mom actually have mutual friends,

in Facebook real life, I meant.

Seremban such an interesting small town.

While chilling in the living hall before dinner.

Some of them came early.

We occupied both the dining tables in the house.

I was so hungry and I booked my chair earlier than anyone,

I have my plate placed on the table waiting for rice.

Love the omelet and soup. Nom-nom!

It was just a simple dinner without crabs/oysters/prawns,

but I love it that way, sometimes.

After the dinner, they went to the next door for Karaoke session,

I wanted to join but I'm shy. Whee!

For those who follow/read/stalk my blog,

you should know I went to Singapore few days ago.

It's been ages since I visited Singapore when I was young.

Poker Card below is one of the bonus :

M&M Special Edition.

Did I told you that I am a M&M Figure collector?

I brought Calvin's camera together with me so that I can switch camera.

I have one but mine is Canon Ixus while he's using Olympus.

Different events different cameras lo.

I know it's troublesome to bring two,

so I am gonna buy a new one, hopefully soon to be.

Back to the topic,

Singapore has the better traffic, I can say that.

Apart from the strict speed limit, the drivers are more patient,

I am one of the Malaysia driver that abide the laws,

Shame on me.

The driving attitude of Singaporean is the only thing I should learn from.

Well, my cousin boy is angry at me as I didn't contact him when I was in Singapore.

I'm sorry Dennis, the schedule was hectic and I barely have the time to meet up with anyone there.

I want shopping, that's why I spent my time shopping there.

No worries, cousin boy, we will meet again.

Will upload more photos later. Stay tuned!

Qatar Airways Walk In Interview - March

Huge satisfaction!

Firstly, I wasn't late for the interview. Big applause to myself!

Secondly, I passed the mandatory test (212 cm) and most exciting was, I was one of the selected 50 candidates out of 300 ++ candidates!

Reached the interview room at 9AM, whereas the interview starts at 10AM. Pretty girls around and I saw few familiar faces. This was the second attempt and I passed the first round twice! Satisfied!

For most of the people out there, they are nervous rather prepared. Even some of them were ex-crew from AirAsia, MAS and SIA. I met at least 6 ex-crew from Airasia and we made close friends. A bonus for attending the second interview, isn't it?

Talked so much ho. Most of the people asked why Qatar? Simply love the prestige of it, the benefits and the routes. The best part is we will be based in Doha, Qatar! I am a homie, like you and you, but since we are still young, and I am not married, I love adventurous life, why not Qatar Airways, right?

Let me tell you more about the interview. The first round is the toughest one. You need to impress the interviewer during submitting your CV. Just 3-5 minutes. She will ask questions, answer the question then you just walk off from the table. Come home and wait for their call for second interview, they will contact you before 6pm on the same day you submitted your CV.

My first attempt was half-successful. I was late for the first day and second day. I absent during the slide showtime and introduction. I reached there 30 minutes before the registration closed. Then I walked off from the table with a little hope, finally, the joyful ring bell! I got the call, but I was too excited, couldn't sleep for the night before and I late for the English Assessment next day. I passed, yet got booted up after the group discussion.

For my second attempt, I wasn't late. I was there for the introduction. During the Q&A session, a lot of people asked stupid questions. Seriously, just bare in your mind that you are going to work in a Islamic Country, you should be able to know what's the restriction, for instance, gender issue and appearance, isn't it? Common sense, people. First and foremost, you are not even confirmed yet that you will be selected, just leave those questions to be asked AFTER you are successfully to be part of the cabin crew. Make any sense here?

I got booted up after the English assessment. There are people with perfect English and I am so sure that my essay sucks! No structure at all, just write whatever I can think in my head. Oh, I am so gonna brush up my writing skills. I am gonna brush up my French! OMG, I paid the fees for nothing, I did not practise, I got no chance to speak French, I was lazy and I skipped classes for college events! Despite of Bonjour and Salut and Oui, a sentence in French I can recall is : Do you want to make love with me? I am not nasty, this particular sentence is sang in "Lady Marmalade" !

I wasn't disappointed. I feel grateful that I am selected and I believe that they see the qualities in me, aren't they? I was nervous a little bit, and not manage to take a picture of mine, what I wore, how did I make up and etc.

I know many of them shared the tips for SIA Cabin Crew Walk In Interview. Unlike Qatar Airways, it's very subjective in Qatar Airways. It's a multi-cultural company and the interviewers have seen up to 80 nationalities worldwide during their recruitments. Just be yourself, and believe me, warm smile is the rule of thumbs.

In shorts, I am happy, satisfied, grateful. When There Is A Will, There Is A Way. One of my friends tried 12 times, and she got selected finally last year! She is on probation now, hope we can fly together very soon.

Qatar Airways, I'll be back perfectly prepared! Adios!

Happy Birthday Drummer ;)

Late, late, late update!

Celebrated his birthday on 31st January 2010.

He is officially a 24 years old big man!

I still have one more month to go, wait for me.

I've prepared a surprise gift for him,

ever since he started to ask what present he'll get from me.

He is so busy nowadays and he is exhausted teaching new students.

So I said : "Don't worry, you'll get a surprise and you'll love it!"

We missed our annual trip because I had my 'trip' in Columbia hospital.

Bother the charges and boredom staying in the hospital.

Burned me into ashes in hell and a big hole in my pocket!

I need a breakaway! He needs it too.

Snapped.

Cozy and windy. We did not swim because jellyfish conquered the beach!

I got it from jellyfish before, it was so damn pain, can?

I thought it was plastic bag and cursing people like nobody business.

"Don't know how to throw in the dustbin izzit?!"

Check In

He had no idea where I am bringing him to. Until he saw the Cherating Beach signboard.

OMG, after a 4 hours drive, I am completely tired.

Sunshine time in the suite.

I've booked a suite for 2 person.

They did offer a president suite but it is too much spaces for 2 person,

so I decided to book this.

It's a purrfect getaway and far far from the city life.

We slept while listening to the sea wave and windy night is the rule of thumbs!

We only stayed for 2 days 1 night.

My breakfast. This is my ideal breakfast.

I used to fancy about spaghetti, fruit wine and ham in the morning.

Breads, nuts and sausage is just perfect for a sunny morning.

I took lotsa photos of the resort and beach, but my laptop system down

and couldn't upload most of them.

I will definitely book this resort again in the future ;)

I love beaches!

Imma good driver.

Ignore my tummy. A four-hours-drive drives me crazy!

I insisted to drive because I refused to tell him where is place I am going to bring him to.

I think I am more fleshy right now, don't you think so?

For those who follow me in Twitter /slash Facebook, you should know what I've gave him as birthday present.

I am not that lame to buy a branded stuff or whatsoever.

He can buy it on his own anyways. Better save my money for better usage, no?

The Chans.

Ei, penalty kick?

Make a wish.

The black shirt kid is his younger brother, let me introduce

Edward Chan.

A future musician, as well.

The lady is his dad's younger sister a.k.a aunt la.

We had this birthday cake after back from you-know. Reached his Sri Pulai house at night.

Another 4 hours drive, but better cause he drove for the second half journey.

Am still in the Chinese New Year mode.

I am happy with my red packets. Whee.

I lost my laptop so probably will update lesser than usual.

I have tons of photos waiting for me to arrange and filing.

My Chinese New Year is fabulous to the max!

How is yours?

More updates after I arrange my photos. Stay tuned.

S.U.N.S.H.I.N.E, Penang

More on my vacation in Penang. This island is the Food Heaven for me. Too many choices and I barely satisfic with my choices, I want to try all of 'em so badly.

Morning

Macalister Street

Since I want to try most of the food, we decided to make different orders and we will share all the food. These are my first breakfast in Penang, after a long 4 hours of driving middle of the night. My butt was so numb and my big fat legs need a break.. I rushed to the nearest food centre after get myself out of the traffic jam along the federal highways.

A random kopitiam at Penang Street

We skipped the buffet breakfast provided by the hotel. This kopitiam just located next to the hotel we stayed. Cititel, one of the landmark of the Island.

Food served.

Guess he is way too excited. Vincent, what's wrong?

Asia Cafe, Penang Hill

Dimsums @ total RM7.40. Iced White Coffee @ RM1.60. Can you believe how cheap was that? These were part of the food we ordered. The rest I am not able to take photo 'cause the aroma of food make me starving.

Night

Gurney Drive, Penang.

A must-visit places. Up to 100 stalls with various choices of food. You should try the Penang Laksa, Luk-Luk as well as their penang-made oyster ommellate. Most of the food sells at RM5 and above, excluding the drinks. This fried oyster stall is run by an old couple. You will need to queue up before you get a plate of it.

Large.

The most popular oyster ommellate from Penang. I ate one large plate and also brought a small plate back to the hotel as my supper.

Camwhoring with food.

We had all our dinners at Gurney Drive. Just 5 minutes away from the hotel. Gurney Drive is located along the sea side. Cozy environment with gentle windblow. You can view a very nice night scene of Penang Bridge, The landmark of Malaysia.

Roslyn and Chee Sheng

My younger sister BFF. A sweet little brother. Much more taller but he is shy as well.

What a coincidence, he was there for a basketball match for university. Gave me a surprise when he called my name. I was thrilled because we had not meet each other for about 2 months, ever since he was away from Seremban for studies.

Genting Here I Come!

Spot my mom?

Excuse me for promoting my mom, I can say my mom is the PRETTIEST MOM among all the aunties, oh, excuse me again. HAHA.
(OK lar, at least still in shape and quite fashionable)

Posers. LMAO.

Spot Me?

You blind. I'm not even there, people. GOTCHA!

Racers

I'm good in it. By the way, shower cap for free.

I was in the next cabin. With my other siblings.

PULAU SUMATERA, INDONESIA

► Calvin and I. This was during the trip to Indonesia 3 years back. We took it at night. The village is so quiet and yes, we had starry starry night.

► The cousins and relatives. This picture took on the last day us in Indonesia. The yellow shirt guy is my one year elder cousin. He was the person that I fought a lot when I was so young. I called him "beruk" he called me " biscuit". Cause I thin like a Jacob biscuit.

► Making dodol at night. We placed a very damn huge kuali next to our kampung house. We started to cook it at 8 pm, and we take turns stirr the dodol until 11 am on the next day.

► Going to Sumatera. My family and Calvin. From left : Me myself, Calvin, my younger MVP brother and my perfectly soft talker elder sister. I guess my younger sister took this picture for us.

► Yes, we picked ship as the transport to Sumatera. We brought so many things and big boxes back to my mom's hometown. Clothing {Branded wui~ Adidas, Nike, Polo (For uncles) and so on} sportshoes, watches, books, gameboys {for kids}, dress {cousin girls} and so on. Airlines charged us {so damn expensive} during the previous trip back to Indonesia, furthermore they limited us what to bring, what items are restricted...So we decided to pick ship this time.

► Can't see me? I was the photographer. XOXO. My dad anti-taking photo. I was like him before, haha.
