Sony VAIO CW SERIES : Missy Pink

# I'm happy *Can see my big smile?*

Finally, after all the misery wtf of choosing laptop, several visits to different shops, I am settling down with VAIO!

# The box.

Firstly, the salesperson told me PINK is not available anymore. I was quite surprise and disappointed wtf miserable moment.

Surprisingly many people chose Pink instead of other colors, disappointed because I need to go to KL to get one.

I am forced to pick other colors. I reluctantly chose maroon. Maybe the salesperson saw my shit face, he checked the stock again. Maybe GOD hears me, 2 Pink laptop were found!

Both booked by others. It's really unfair isn't it? They paid small amount of money but possess the laptop.

I can't believe that such shop actually accept deposit wtf.

Approached the supervisor.I insisted to buy it no matter what.

# OMFG bimbo! Sad that Pink is the most chio color among all the colors.

I think I hate Pink. I spent almost an hour in the shop just to decide which color I should take.

# Them checking out the specifications.

I was vulnerable between 2 processors, either i5 or i7. i7 costs RM1000 extra than i5.

# I must say this sales assistant is very attentive and helpful compared to other Chinese there.

So what I'm being racist here? One of the advantage being a mix blood is you can make fun with different race. Kidding.

I never deny that I'm a total bitch, undeniable a difficult customer.

Every cents count, I withdraw thousands from the ATM and brought it with me.

I should capture their faces when I pay them with cash notes, funny! One of them sarcastically asked what don't I pay by credit card. Whatever. Bear in mind that I'm the consumer and he is just a salesperson in this shop.

Nowadays customer service is very important, agree? I rated the bunch of Chinese salespersons 1.5/5.

# Rushing for family dinner.

One for laptop, another one for case and bag.
# Watcha looking at?

# Time to set up the laptop while I'm watching National Geography HD.

Damn it makes me headache watching HD with such a big screen. =/ not recommended.

# Grin!

I'm a tech-naive. Other than the contents in books, I'm sucks in practical. Theoretically, I can tell you all sorts of technical knowledge about engineering. In reality,  I don't even know how to do recovery files. =/

# Still setting up the system. Watching E! News.

Well this is so much better than National Geography High Definition. The possibility of celebrities screwing their life are 4587951 times higher. Maybe we should blame the fame and wealth. Sometimes they are out of their mind, or they think they have higher  social rank in society, argh, quite annoying but I find it entertaining. Some of them are clowns entertainers in life.

# My sister is arranging her university course schedule on-line.
Her boyfriend was the one who owned a VAIO first, then my sister has one, now I have one too. =)

# Blogger must-know camwhore technique.

Seriously, I'm still learning how to adjust my angles. Let it alone the function of the camera. It a newly bought semi-pro camera, still figure out how to master it. =/

Maybe compact camera suits me better. One of the reasons I want a semi-pro is because I need a camera equipped with higher shutter speed, gosh my dogs can run so fast until all the photos that taken by my Canon so blurry, too much noise.

Secondly it is because I hate buttons. I understand most of the pro cameras are manually adjustable, which what I can see is only time consuming and too much hassle!

All I want is switch it on and snap snap snap =)

# I am awesome.

No no no I meant the computer is awesome, not me.

*It's only a computer name, right?*

I'd chose Intel Core i5 processor and can boost up to 2.93 GHz.

Most importantly, internet-surfing speed super fast! One of my pet hates is : Waiting, waiting and waiting. So it's really matter to me.

This newly bought Laptop is quite impressing. I tried Modern War Fare : Call For Duty and Grand Theft Auto. The system able to run both the games smoothly without lagging at all.

For your information, MWF game is the decisive program that tested on almost all the laptops to check the performance of system.

From the point of money wise and usage, personally I think VAIO is better than Macbook and HP.

Frankly speaking, my previous one was Compaq, have a 6 months old RM6000 HP laptop,

VAIO is still the best. Many tells that buying VAIO is waste of money, with such amount of money I can buy Macbook Pro, and they thought Macbook is the better one. Well apparently it prove you wrong.

Although this CW VAIO is slightly expensive than lower range of Macbook,  but believe me it worth every cent you spent.

I paid extra RM350 to extend one year warranty to three years warranty. Trust me, it's very important.

I can't get my hands off wtf like small kids get new toys. I promise that I will be an active MSN user, you will see my online often.

*changing my display pictures and shout outs*

ADD ME!

I am head over heels,  items in my wish list 2010 is achieved one-by-one, now left one on the list. Whee!

I AM HAPPY, THRILLED AND EXCITED.

So, good night people! Toddlesssss.

Olympus PEN Rocks My World.

# First Attempt : Night Mode

# Second Attempt : Gentle Mafia Sepia

McChicken : Grainy Film

McChicken : Pop Art

McChicken : Soft Focus

At 2.54AM, I am still chewing on the manual booklet.

Wish me luck and hopefully I can transform into a semi-pro camera user.

Well, taking about buying a camera, I got my first compact camera from boyfriend when I was 19. It's a Canon Ixus. I snapped all my memorable moments, I meant, almost of it were captured and stored in my laptop. My dad had a DSLR long time ago, unfortunately, his daughter (me) dropped it on the floor and lenses broke into pieces. No, he didn't get angry at me, but ever since that he did not take any photos anymore.

Many tells me that buying a semi-pro is a waste of money and they told me that why bother to buy a semi-pro as I will probably become a pro-camera user soon after tahat. No, it doesn't make any sense here. I know myself. I hate gadgets with too much buttons and honestly I am a tech-naive. It's proven the moment when I dropped my dad's camera because I was trying to figure out which one is the snap button. Canon offers free tutorials for camera buyers, I believe it always come in handy but hey, again I can settle down with a semi-pro camera.

Canon S90 was my first choice before Olympus PEN. I kept eye-ing on Canon's products because mine is a Canon, supposedly I can handle it since they are from the same company. So when I go through most of the forums on-line, some of them recommended Olympus PEN, E-PL1 or E-PL2. For you information, I am willing to spend more time on-line searching for information, such as the prices, promotions, specifications, and etc before I really spend my sweat, my hard work, my time, my efforts, my dignity wtf on the particular item. Apparently, Olympus PEN caught my attention more than anything. It makes me happy when I finally make up my mind and save all those misery moment searching for camera with a 14.1" screen, it was so eye-soaring and gosh it make my stomach uneasy after spending hours staring at the small screen. In the same time, it sadden me to realize that I have no sufficient budget. Gosh, need to earn more money not only for this camera, but for my September vacation as well.

Maybe GOD hears my prayer, or I just plainly too moody not to be noticed, boyfriend gave me a green light. As a token of his efforts, my first model is him. =) My current favorite mode is PIN HOLE under ART mode. Besides that, I'm trying to become a devoted wtf camera user, so please feel free to teach me how to use it, you know that information from real camera users really works on newbie like me.

PS : Jumping around happily x 154589658423153 times ♥

Alienware VS Macbook

For those who follow me in Twitter.com /slash roslynkong,

you know that I lost my laptop!

Mine is the HP TX series, which you can turn the screen 180°.

My RM4299 burned, very sad, can?

For a blogger like me,

without a laptop is leaving myself rotten alone in the house.

I have compared 2 laptops as below,

probably my choice would be Alienware M11x.

I choose the lowest specs of this 2 brands,

we can share the opinions, perhaps?

#1 Macbook

RM3,599

Processor 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 3MB on-chip shared L2 cache
running 1:1 with processor speed
Operating System MAC OS X Snow Leopard
Display 13.3-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit glossy widescreen display with
support for millions of colours
Video Card NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics processor with 256MB of
DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory
Memory 2GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM (2 x 1G)
Hard Drive 250GB 5400-rpm Serial ATA hard disk drive

#2 Alienware M11x

RM3,499

Processor Intel® Pentium™ Processor SU4100 (1.30 GHz/800 MHz FSB/2M Cache)
Operating System
Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium 64bit (English)
Display 11.6" WideHD 720p WLED (1366x768) Display Integrated 1.3MP web cam
Video Card 1GB GDDR3 NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 335M
Memory 2GB Dual-channel 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM (2 x 1G)
Hard Drive 320GB 7200RPM P11 Hard Drive

In my opinion,

Alienware is the best choice for my budget as well as the specs compared to Macbook.

The only thing hold me back is the screen size.

I barely watch movies with my previous 12" screen,

what more can I say about 11"?

Optional screen size is 15.6" and 17.6",

but these are definitely more expensive, range from RM 5999 - RM6599.

Additionally, Macbook is not friendly-user compared to Dell products.

You can customize Alienware, from the style, accessories to software.

What I adore about the style is the Avatar on the cover.

You can customize the color of the Avatar,

as well as the LED color on the keyboard.

It is more to personal.

Optional, you actually can buy Demo set from Apple Store.

They will put up the info on the board (at the entrance) regularly.

I saw a demo set of Macbook, they sell it at RM2499 only.

RM99 for 1G Ipod Shuffle.

Well, I am not going to buy it because I am a very fussy customer.

I always expect the best and will regret if it spoiled,

I will start to nag about myself.

"Why la go and buy cheap stuff?!"

I know some of them would buy it,

it's just that I am not a careful person.

I abuse things ;)

So, what do you say?

Nerf Gun for Christmas

Vulcan EBF-25 X RM 209.90

25 bullets installed. You can shoot manually by pulling the trigger. OR, you can activate the shooting using battery. 3 bullets in one second. Fast enough?
Told you so. I bought a super-duper killing present for my bii. This is the one.

Raider CS-35 X RM 149.90

Up to 37 bullets installed. Single shoot or multiple shoot.

Close-up to the bullet casing.

This is my favorite gun. Nerf Gun is a popular toys among the American. I got to know about this toys via Youtube.

Beware that this toys are dangerous as well, it can be modified, turned into a harmful weapon.

I am so gonna spray bii's nerf gun : nerf.com

Bii bought a long-shot nerf (photo not uploaded) for Edward as Christmas present. I kept it as a secret. Told nobody.

Later on, Edward asked me as his companion to get a present for Calvin. He chose Raider CS-35 as the present, I was so shocked, thought that I might spilled of the secret.

When both of them unwrapped their present, well you shall able to imagine the surprise.

War next day in Calvin's new house. Bigger house, better war.

Nerf guns are our new toys. We played real-life-CS in the house.

We have 3 Nerfs. Anyone joining the game? ;)

I can guarantee you that it is so exciting. Malaysia sells less guns compared to overseas.

Congrats to bii as he got 2 Nerf guns as his Christmas present. Geng enough.

------------------------------------------------------------

Back from KL. Joker missed Calvin so much. Hugged him and showed me this face.

Joker love this puppet. From IKEA.

I recommend people to buy soft toys from IKEA. They have the best soft toys for pets to chew on. Stitches are good and you seldom can find tore toys.

I bought most of the soft toys for my pets from IKEA.

Cheap price X good quality = Can't agree more.

Santa Claus is coming to town.

Got your presents?

Something For Everyone

I've upgraded my Maxis Broadband Service. Received a SMS from Maxis informing that selected customer is able to upgrade the existing broadband service to Bonanza Package.

Mine was RM118, but now, they are offering me RM58 for 3G speed per month.

Additionally, I also get 2 months free service. ;)

Season's Free Gifts.

I've got 2 note books from Maxis. Love the boxes.

This is the USB. Plug in to your laptop or PC, there you go. ;)

Better than last time gadget, this can be used as a thumb drive. Just slide in a memory card. It's not included in the package. ;)

This is serious worth to get. RM58 per month. RM180 as the first payment, however, it will be deducted RM30 per month for the next 6 months. There is no contract as well.

For the previous gadget, you need to give it back to Maxis once you terminate the service. As for this package, this thumb drive is not needed to return back to Maxis. It's all yours.

Just a reminder, if you are using the previous gadget, bring the box along when you are returning it back to the center. Or else, you'll need to pay RM30 for the effing empty box.

I lost mine, I found it ridiculous when the particular effing indian lady informed me I need to pay RM30, which this statement never mentioned in the contract.

Frustrated, looked for a friend working at the center, burst out my anger, then I was able to return the gadget sucessfully without paying RM30.

They will activate your broadband service within 2 hours. If they don't, you can call the Broadband Call Center that operates till 2am daily.

What should I buy with this RM100 voucher?

Can buy anything from Raoul?

N97mini Raoul Edition

Love it.

LG has Prada, Nokia has Raoul now. I was effing dying for Prada before, my heart doesn't give myself a green light because of the features and also the price.

If not mistaken, it's about RM3000 for the LG Prada. No 3G. Dead.

Nokia N97mini Raoul only sell at RM2550.00. Only 1000 units in Malaysia.

N97mini Raoul is a bonus! I was thinking to buy N97mini, however, the white coloured doesn't attract me at all. I want something unique.

Saw the Nokia-Raoul showcase in Pavilion and I was thrilled when I first saw this phone.

Love the color. Love the price!

My wallpaper

They have the main contents where you can choose to have shorcuts, handy.

I've put GPS, WEB, Youtube, Blogger, Facebook and Twitter.

Also the shortcuts to Notes, Voice Message Reader, Wifi and Fashion Updates.

Fashion updates is an application from FJ Benjamin. This app will updates the latest runways from La Senza, Raoul, Banana Republic and etc.

The handsfree with MP3 navigator.

This phone has 8GB bulit in memory. The normal N97 should have 16GB. Both the phones can support up to external 32GB memory.

All of my songs are Avenged Sevenfold's and AAR's.

5MP.

At RM2550, you can get :

Leather box from Raoul where you put your Nokia box and whatsoever.

Leather pouch. I'll use it occassionally.

Extra back cover - Normal and Raoul Edition.

And also the RM100 voucher from Raoul.

People telling me iPhone 3Gs or BB is the best.

Look around, people.
Most of the girls blogged about "BB".
It's a trend, I guess.
I tried on BB before.
Can't say anything about it, BB lovers will start to harp on me.

But, look at N97mini Raoul,

This phone definitely is my type, love the features and love its' "limited/special Edition"!

To be frank,

I started to look out phones with keyboard after watching GG.

Like GG's,

they snapped photos, swipe the phone and start to play with the keyboard.

Again, Raoul is the one for me. ;)

Mr. iTouch

For those in my FB friendlist, you guys know that I was so so so pissed off...

When I found out that my trip to USA burned into ashes!!!

My Saturday mood turned bad. Real bad.

Decided to take a walk in Sunway Pyramid. Called Vincent and Calvin, there we go!

Bought some small stuff.

I saw Machines, then simply walk-in, thought of scrolling the iPhone, touching the MP3s, asking some stupid questions just to bug the salesperson, then we ciao for dinner.

And take some photos -__-"

Talala!

After trying out iTouch, OMG, I fall in love with 'him'.

I want it!

"How much?"

" 8GB, 16GB and 32GB, which one you prefer, miss? "

" Umm... 8GB? "

" RM 900++ "

" WTF?! " Sweating.

But after a very long long consideration, actually not that long. Haha.

I said bye and walked off from Machines, headed to Sony, to check out the Cybershot and TVs.

Should I or shouldn't I?

I was fighting with myself in my mind.

I should.

No, shouldn't!

Is 8GB enough for me?

How about 32GB?

Oh, fork it, just buy lar!

There you are, babe.

32G! Black! Thank GOD that Calvin keep telling me to make the wise choice, the wise choice..

" Are you going to download all the songs for me? "

" If you want to. "

" Okay, set! "

I am a lazy person.

I bought a new pair of shoes too!

The Union Jack is mine. ;) I was wondering why my shoe size is 4, what the fork?
Should be size 6, I'm 170, fellas. -___-"

The other pair of my sport shoes is size 4 too. Wondering...

---------------------------------------------------------------------

I downloaded lots of applications! Songs and videos!

Luckily I didn't pick up 8GB, I'll cry.

Fellas, go for iTouch, seriously, you'll love it too.

COOPER S VS. FAIRLADY 350Z

Gosh. If I'm rich. If I earn good money. If I won the reality show..

So many if.

Then I wouldn't CARE SO MUCH about scoring CGPA 3.7 and above!

Fucktard. I want this shit.

MINI Cooper S

The engine in the Mini Cooper S accelerates well and brings in good fuel economy. Its automatic transmission is surprisingly good, while the standard audio system delivers rich sound.Good-looking and one of the most fun cars on the road, the Mini Cooper S is well-engineered throughout.

Price (OTR) = RM 239,290.00

Nissan Fairlady Z

The sleek 350Z two-door body is available in three distinctive trims. The Enthusiast trim has all the great standard options found in most Nissans (including air conditioning, power windows and heated door mirrors). Nissan's 350Z's Touring trim includes all the previously mentioned standard options plus heated front seats, a six-disc CD player with MP3 capability, Bluetooth compatibility and an optional navigation system. To take full advantage of all the 350Z's possibilities choose the Grand Touring trim. This trim includes ABS and driveline brakes, optional sequential shift control and electronic stability.

Price (OTR) : RM 173,000 and above.

Mini Cooper S Coupe VS Nissan Fairlady 350Z

Utility
The MINI is likely a better choice than the 350Z with respect to hauling capacity, especially if you frequently need to carry a lot of cargo or massive beasts. The MINI Cooper will most definitely prove friendlier than the Nissan 350Z for those of you with frequent child-cargo.

Performance
In terms of horsepower, the Nissan 350Z packs quite a punch and will knock the MINI Cooper down a few rungs. On the flip side, remember that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums. With that kind of horsepower, the Nissan is a veritable speedster.

Dimensions
Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Nissan 350Z than the MINI Cooper because of its more capacious tank. The MINI fits in smaller parking spaces than the Nissan 350Z. The Nissan 350Z's longer wheelbase will result in a smoother, more stable ride; however, the Cooper may give a more agile feel in daily traffic.

Convenience
The MINI Cooper's fuel tank will need to be replenished a little more often than the unit in the Nissan 350Z. You'll indubitably take the MINI Cooper for a fill-up about as often as the Nissan 350Z.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs approximately the same to get the MINI Cooper to the dealership as the Nissan 350Z. The MINI Cooper will save you money at the pump compared to the Nissan. The Nissan 350Z will tax your gas budget substantially more than the Cooper will. The Nissan 350Z is tremendously more expensive than the MINI with respect to MSRP. The MINI Cooper will save you a bundle at the pump every year compared to the Nissan 350Z. The Nissan will cost you a bundle in gasoline every year compared to the MINI Cooper.

Handling
With its front-wheel drive layout, the MINI Cooper likely has better traction in rain, snow or ice than the 350Z; on the other hand, the 350Z's rear-wheel drive layout likely provides better weight distribution. The Nissan 350Z has tremendously wider tires than the MINI. Note that bigger tires could look and feel better, while narrower tires can provide better handling in deep snow. With their comparable turning circles, the Cooper and the Nissan 350Z indubitably handle about the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Nissan 350Z's engine is tremendously larger than the Cooper's. Remember that more sizeable engines may use more gasoline than smaller ones. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Nissan is tremendously more powerful than the MINI Cooper. Torque equals pickup, and the Nissan will have picked up and gone by the time the MINI Cooper finally gets moving.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the 350Z offers a bit more head room than the MINI Cooper, there frankly isn't much of a difference.

Overview
The basic after-sale protection that comes with the Nissan 350Z isn't quite as generous as the MINI Cooper's.

For more reviews :

Nissan Fairlady most likely cheaper than Mini Cooper S. But, the maintanance of Nissan Fairlady are so much more expensive than Mini Cooper S. I've checked the roadtax and insurance for Fairlady.
(So so so so so sucking my blood, my sweat all dried up!)

Roadtax of Nissan Fairlady about RM 4000 plus. (WTH?!)

Insurance about RM4000 plus too. (MF!!)

Dreaming Part : (hey! people can dream, no?)

I've been considering about transfering the NCB, just to reduce the insurance of Fairlady. Unfortunately, I can't use my family car's NCB as it wasn't registered under my name. So not cool! Second option, I tried to transfer the Picanto's car insurance NCB, but reduces 25% only! I can't do it thou..as the car is less than one year. Sad case lar~

(Installments at the rate of 2.5%, 7 years)

Fairlady's : RM 2400 and above;

Cooper S Coupe's : RM 3300 and above.

Fucktard. Rich kids toys.

My dream, my dream so far away.

High Speed Maxis 3G ;) Lovessssss It.

Moment of frustrating ended here. Lamessss Streamyx!!

My new mobile life begins @ MAXIS. ;)

I'm taking the POWER PACKAGE. Peak speeds up to 3.6 MBps.

Lols, I know it's real.

Registered it few days ago. When I started using it, was quite frustrating. Thought it may have some connection problems, so I on and off, on and off for several times. Well, was trying my luck.

;)
The speed too slow, only about 10 to 20 KB of dowloading speed. Worse than Streamyx. I decided to cancel the package as it was still under the probation period.

At night, I wanted to try my luck one more time.

GOD HEARD MY PRAYERSSS!

Speeds are extremely HIGH! I tried to download the latest series of Grey's Anatomy, about 2.4 GB. Used 4 hours to complete it. Fast?

Just two days ago, I went to Lowyat to buy a new laptop. GOSH! Found out that Maxis are giving out special edition of modems!

We can't get it in Seremban. How lame was that, fellas?

Thought want to unsubscribe this, and re-subscribe so that I am eligible for taking the special edition modem. But when I think twice, nah~ Wasting my time.

So here is it. The white-colored modem.

To get start with MAXIS BROADBAND, all you need is to check whether you are residing within High Speed Maxis 3G (HSDPA) coverage area.

They offered different packages and you can choose the best and most suitable service for yourself. Monthly charges are affortable : RM68, RM78 and RM98. Mine is RM118 per month, comes along with the modem. ;)

Learning New Things.

How long I've been abandoned my blog?

And you guys answer : Dunno.

" ...................... "

Whatever cause I'm kinda busy with my schedule nowadays. Let me update some of the new things in life.

Sony Ericsson G900

Same as the laptop I owned, I tried to EXPOSE myself to the quite latest technology, TOUCHSCREEN. The hardest part was : I so USED to press the keys!

When I answer the call of this SE, I need to touch the screen, while I always make a mistake that I pressed the button!

This is the one, anyways.

Our New House. Renovation. New Tiles. New Painting.

We've bought new tiles for the house. From MML and White Horse. I never thought that tiles can could cost me so much, the most shocking moment was I found out the working payment is much more expensive than the tiles. So, we need to stop spending money on unnecessary things, such as movies, shoppings and restaurants. Yet, I'm happy with that, and so much grateful that I have a house, mumble has a bigger activity space and I can start decorate my new house on my own, my style. =)

Till then.
