A Little Piece of Heaven

Every Cloud Has Sliver Lining.

Firstly, I want to thank the people that wish the best for me.

I have this two good looking friends, I appreciate their advices and helpful information.

One of them were on the way to KLIA, he was flying to Osaka, Japan that night.

We were talking on the phone and he provided me information.

The other ones were attending the crew-briefing before he flew to Dubai.

He provided me the information as well.

They gave me so much confidence and made me believe that I am going to make it through.

They've been very helpful. How lucky am I to have them in my life.

The result told me otherwise. I was sad but I am not giving it up.

I know I wasn't in the mood to talk cheerfully and friendly that time.

Positively, this interview made me a better person.

Apparently, I am still that slim, and this is my weakness.

I was told that this is a minus as I am super underweight compared to others.

I am taller, yet the slimmer ones.

It's a tough and unique experience.

I was one of the 130-140 out of 1600 applicants.

I've done my best and the panel were impressed.

We had self-introduction, then the panel will ask some related questions.

There were 6 of us sitting in a row, waiting anxiously for the questions that might coming to us.

Generally the panel will ask :

Why should we hire you as cabin crew?

Tell me if you have what it takes to be part of the cabin crew?

I was thrilled because I've been asking myself the question trillion times!

Other candidates performed moderately, but the pretty Indian girl sat next to me.

She can speak English fluently, she is a discipline teacher, and she is only 26!

We made close friends after that, we both made it to the next stage.

Only 2 out of 6 made it to the grooming session.

The panel asked :

"So Roslyn, can you introduce Negeri Sembilan? " one of the interviewers asked.

I started from the history, places to visit, food and etc.

" Have you travelled with MAS before? " - Yes.

" From where to where? " - Kuala Lumpur to Melbourne.

" So tell me what is the type of the airplane ? "

" Good. Can you tell me what gadget we have in the cabin? "

Luckily, I answered all of it with courtesy and confidence.

I was wondering why they asked me technical parts while the others had general questions.

Perhaps these are my advantaged IF I able to answer tougher questions.

The interview session was good, I made jokes with the interviewers, chit-chat like friends.

Got the interview slip for Sunday's session, which is the interaction.

This is the crucial part. I got booted out after the stage.

If I passed it, I will proceed to the final interview.

I am not, anyways.

I am lucky.

Because I have the chance to attend for the interview and passed the first two stages.

This process made me grow up.

Well, this is the best thing happened during my weekend.

I shall try again.

I AM BRILLIANT . I AM OUTSTANDING.

I AM BEYOND THE EXPECTATION.
