Christmas, For Me...

I love Christmas. (Chinese New Year is in the list too. XD) Shopping malls in all their tinseled glory, most the people intrigued by the atmosphere, shopped for Christmas gifts too. Imagine the colorful reindeers and Santa Claus giving out candies, not to forget, the gifts under the Christmas tree, each wrapped with colorful and glory wrapping papers and knot with a big red ribbon. Don't you have the temptation of poking and prodding at the packages?

It is not any importance for us (ME) what is underneath the wrapped parcels. I like to have a flashing-prickly-object in the corner of the room, followed by a big red shiny bauble (For those disbelief in Santa, bluek!) next to the tree. Decorate it with my family and counting the days before the Christmas.

You expecting inside the packages would lay all your top-in-the-list items... For each holds their secrets beneath. The wrapped parcels kept away all the prying eyes and all we can do is the time to unwrapped gifts. I had my first Christmas party last year. Friends are invited and mostly of them turned out. Exclamations of glee, of warm hugs and thanks, explode like party streamers in house. Christmas music, hysteria of ripping wrapping papers and festive fragrances and all nice things fill in the air.

For varying reasons, for each households, Christmas and Chinese New Year, these days in the year is just better to spend time together inside the house. I can meet all my relatives, friends, especially my dad cause he's such a workaholic and mostly spend his time overseas. When he's back, he'll bring souvenirs but the most important is when he's back, I know it's Chinese New Year. XD

For all the pals, especially whoever is still away from home, again, for varying reasons, either you're studying or working outstation, I wish you a MERRY CHRISTMAS. It's time to go back and hug all the people and pets at home.

Merry Christmas, Pals
